La Stratasys presenta la prima stampante 3D multi-colore e multi-materiale al mondo

L'azienda statunitense Stratasys ha presentato la Objet500 Connex3, la prima stampante 3D multicolore e multi-materiale al mondo. Il dispositivo utilizza una tecnologia a triplo getto che combina tre diversi materiali colorati, VeroCyan, VeroMagenta e VeroYellow.

Proprio come per una tradizionale stampante 2D a getto d'inchiostro, questo permette al device di Stratasys di combinare i materiali per ottenere centinaia di colori, anche opachi o trasparenti. Questa tecnologia permette inoltre di ottenere combinazioni diverse di altri materiali, come i colori Tango, simili alla gomma, per produrre oggetti con diversi livelli di flessibilità o rigidità.

Stratasys Ships Color Multi-material 3D Printer

The U.S. company Stratasys introduced the Objet500 Connex3, the first color multi-material 3D printer in the world. This device uses a triple-jet technology that combines three different colored materials, VeroCyan, VeroMagenta and VeroYellow.

Just as for a traditional 2D inkjet printer, this allows the Stratasys device to combine materials to obtain hundreds of colors, whether opaque or transparent. This technology also allows to obtain different combinations of other materials, such as colors Tango, similar to rubber, to produce objects with different levels of flexibility or rigidity.
