Molti studenti hanno segnalato un problema con SolidWorks Student Design Kit che ha cessato di funzionare dal 1 gennaio 2014. Quando viene aperto il programma viene segnalato che la licenza è scaduta quando invece la durata della licenza dovrebbe essere di almeno 365 giorni dalla data di attivazione.
Il problema è causato da un baco del software che può essere risolto installando una hotfix disponibile a questo indirizzo.
Prima di scaricare la patch è necessario verificare qual'è la service pack di SolidWorks Student Design Kit (in genere è la service pack 3.0) in modo da scegliere il file appropriato.
Prima di installare la hotfix è necessario terminare i processi sldworks.exe e sldworks_fs.exe.
How to solve SolidWorks Student Design Kit license expiration issue
Many students reported an issue with SolidWorks Student Design Kit license that ceased working on January 1st 2014. When you open SolidWorks you get a pop up message stating that license has expired while it should work for at least 365 days since first activation. This problem is caused by a bug that can be fixed by installing an hotfix you can download from here.
Before downloading the patch you should check the Service Pack of your SolidWorks Student Design Kit (it's usually 3.0) in order to download the appropriate file.
Before installing you should kill tasks named sldworks.exe and sldworks_fs.exe.
